KendraYesterday was the final day of Women’s History Month and we announced that Kendra Porter was our Makers Hero to round out the awesome month of March. Kendra Porter is an Image Consultant and Stylist located in New York, and the founder of Honor You, the premier personal image agency for full-figured women. She was trained by Stacy London of What Not to Wear and is currently the New York Market Manager and a Stylist for Style for Hire, which was co-founded by Stacy. Ms. Porter has been featured in countless magazines, events and fashion outlets including SHAPE, Black Enterprise and Body Heart. Most recently she was featured in a segment on the Dr. Oz Show in February 2014.

Along with Kendra, we believe that women of all sizes should look and feel fabulous in any setting on any day, which is why Onyii & Co. designs speak to real women everywhere! We at Onyii & Co. are so proud of Ms. Porter and encourage all of you to keep up with her, as she is definitely a woman to watch! We are truly honored to call her friend!  And of course, she looks WONDERFUL in her Onyii & Co. Zara Wrap & Go Skirt and her quote below shares her experience! Thank you Kendra!

“Onyii Brown of Onyii & Co. is an extremely gifted designer. Her creations are truly works of art. There are those that call themselves designers but struggle to fit the everyday woman. As a stylist and a plus size woman I am a fanatic about fit. Onyii listened and addressed my concerns delivering a beautifully crafted full length skirt for a red carpet event. Pictures alone neither convey the quality in her fabrics nor the craftsmanship she displays. It is a privilege to wear an Onyii & Co. masterpiece. You will be blessed by her designs.” –Ms. Kendra Porter, Nov. 4, 2013
